The Blue River Valley Board of Trustees has announced an agreement with Mrs. Lori Dickerson to become the next superintendent pending public comment and a board vote on Thursday, July 25th at 6:00 pm.
Mrs. Dickerson graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, from Ball State University with a master's degree in educational administration, and is a current doctoral student at Indiana State University. Most recently, Mrs. Dickerson was BRV's Assistant Superintendent. In this role, Mrs. Dickerson was responsible for curriculum, instruction, work-based learning initiatives, professional development, and assessment. Mrs. Dickerson previously has been the Elementary Principal as well as the Jr./Sr. High School Principal. Before coming to Blue River Valley Schools, Mrs. Dickerson was the K-12 Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment as well as an elementary teacher.
