Friday, April 14, 2023 To: Blue River Valley Parents and Community Members At 5:45am this morning, the Blue River Valley School Corporation received a phone call from local law enforcement indicating an unspecified threat to several school districts throughout the state. The Indiana Intelligence Fusion Center has been unable to determine the credibility of the threat at this time. Blue River Valley Schools was NOT on the list of schools who received the threatening email. I made the decision to go on a 2 hour delay this morning as a precautionary measure, so our administrative team and law enforcement can walk our buildings and secure our campus before students and staff arrive for school. We always want to keep the safety and security of our students and staff as a priority. I appreciate your support, flexibility, and understanding as we strive to maintain a safe school environment at BRV. Have a great day, Mr. McCormick
