
Last week our students competed in a door decorating contest! The theme was "gingerbread house", and we had winners for both the Jr. High & High School. Below are the winning doors which earned both of those classes donuts that they will receive this Wednesday! #VikingVictories

Two of our students are currently training to become CDL certified through the NCCC. The two students, that are pictured below, are Zac McAbee & Lucas Runion. These students will take their CDL exam in December. We are very proud of them! #VikingVictories

In Accounting Fundamentals, students finished the Accounting Cycle by playing Monopoly. While playing the game, students recorded their transactions, made decisions, and completed their financial statements once the game was complete. #VikingVictories


It was a busy week in the Choral Music Department! They performed for the Henry County Public Library Veterans Day Celebration, attended the All Region Choral festival at Marian University, and put on a great performance at the Veteran's Day program! #VikingVictories

Biology students are doing chemical tests to explore whether different food samples contain carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins. #VikingVictories

Our Spanish I class is organizing a song contest based on Eurovision! The actual event takes place in a different European country once a year. Our students have to participate in groups where they have to perform a Spanish song. #VikingVictories


If you didn't get a chance to see Pure Imagination last night, there are 2 performances today! Today's shows are at 2:30 and 7:00. The doors open 30 minutes before. Adult tickets are $6 and student tickets are $3.


Students in Ag Power are priming the PVC pieces that they measured and cut, along with the fittings that they will use for their PVC sprinkler project. #VikingVictories

Mrs. Dillon's speech class presented demonstration speeches this week. Students were asked to choose something to demonstrate, step-by-step, for the class. Some demonstrations presented were building a fire, assembling an acai bowl, & making an origami flower. #VikingVictories

Students in Enrichment Targeted Assistance constructed and tested Lego cars with a rubber band slingshot to see whose could go the farthest! #VikingVictories

Mrs. Dillon's Writing Composition classes "exploded a moment". The students broke a moment in their lives into its many details and used those details to reconstruct the moment in paragraph form. #VikingVictories
