Our young “surgeons” performed heart and brain operations on book characters to uncover what they feel and think. ❤️🧠 They put their math skills to the test by checking patients’ vitals, and completed other surgery-inspired challenges using text features, compound words, and even latitude & longitude. They wrapped up this hands-on learning adventure with an owl pellet dissection! 🦉🔍 #VikingVictories
📢 Breaking News! 97.2% of Blue River Valley 3rd Graders Pass IREAD! 🎉📚
We are so proud of our current 4th graders, who exceeded the state’s goal of a 95% pass rate on IREAD-3 with an incredible 97.2%, placing BRV in the top 6% of school corporations in the entire state of Indiana! 🏆
This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our students, teachers, staff, and families. Our teachers worked tirelessly, our staff supported every step of the way, and our parents and guardians provided the encouragement and practice at home that helped our students shine.
It truly takes a team, and BRV has the best! 💙❤️🤍

Some areas are still in the middle of renovations, and to help our construction team catch every detail, staff have been asked not to decorate just yet. We want everything done right before the project wraps up this fall.
